MITCHELL PLITNICK is a member of the Coordinating
Committee of JVP, its newsletter editor, and an editor of Jewish Peace
News. He was raised an orthodox Jew in a pro-Israel environment. He has
been studying Israeli and Jewish history since he was a child and has
continued to study history and religious tracts all through his life even
though he abandoned the faith at a young age. He helped set up the Mideast Watch section of Z magazine's web site.
In 2000, Mitchell graduated with honors from UC Berkeley in Middle Eastern
Studies.

DAVID MEIR-LEVI is an America-born Israeli. He has taught
Near Eastern Studies at the Hebrew
University and the University
of Tel Aviv. He has created a
series of presentations in which he reviews the documented and verifiable
history of the Arab-Israel conflict, assesses the current unrest in light
of its historical roots, and offers possible
scenarios for solutions. David has lectured widely in the Bay Area. He
leads a weekly radio broadcast at Stanford
University, called "Middle
East Media Watch.”
